Turn a Seagrass Rug into a Headboard

Hanna from Stripes & Polka Dots wanted to lighten up the basement guest room in her new house and turn it into cozy and relaxing space for her guests.

Hanna loved the natural look of a seagrass headboard from Pottery Barn and found a brilliant way to create her own for less – a rug!

Yep, this crafty chick bought a seagrass rug on Craigslist and then wrapped it around a piece of MDF and batting to make her textural headboard for only $75!
