Emily from life{illustrated} is always looking for seasonal art inspiration, and the vintage egg prints from Ballard Designs caught her eye. For Emily, they were “just the right amount of ‘spring’ without looking too cheesy or juvenile.” So Emily headed to the Graphics Fairy and made her own art for FREE! It’s really as simple as printing it out and popping it in a frame!
Judy from Gracious Southern Living wanted to make a few changes in her foyer to create a more accurate reflection of the rest of her home. Loving the contrast of black and white, Judy covered a drum shade she already had with a checked fabric. The shape of the drum shade made this a super simple task, and the addition of trim around the edges really gives it a finished look.

She came upon some framed prints of vintage kitchen utensils she loved but certainly wasn’t dishing out $59 a piece for. Emily set out to knockoff a few of her favorites. Here’s what she has to say: “The process was really simple, and I love how my prints turned out. I saved about $230 by doing it myself!”
For under ten dollars, Kate from Magic City Thistle was able to make her own captain’s style mirror. A bamboo tray she found on clearance at Target and two thrift store belts were key to Kate’s thrifty design. She says the worn leather belts gave it just the aged look she was after!
