Carrie from Making Lemonade and a few blogging buddies collaborated to come up with simple holiday ideas called Christmas in a Minute. Yesterday I shared a couple of ideas for creating your own tabletop Christmas trees. Considering the popularity of burlap, I can’t leave these little trees from Ask Anna out of the mix! I’ve got a couple of projects to showcase that show there are more options out there than just the traditional evergreen boughs. Gail from Purple Hues and Me created this trio of red trees by cutting felt leaves and adhering them to cone forms. What a simple way to make a statement on a tabletop or mantel!

When Gail from Purple Hues and Me saw a lovely little Christmas tree made from brooches, she knew it would be a perfect way to display jewelry pieces she had accumulated from her loved ones. Gail pieced together large and small pieces to cover a Styrofoam tree and finished it off with glittery sparkle. The sentimental meaning behind Gail’s tree makes it all the more beautiful!
