Laura from The Burke Lodge decided to try her hand at rug painting after seeing tutorials featured on other blogs. She used 7 different paint sample colors to create this bright, stripy rug and add a splash of color to her kitchen. I like the watercolor effect she achieved by blending the colors together.
Laura’s original inspiration came from the Grass Striped Rug from Anthropologie.
