Safari Print Finial

You may remember the painted safari print ornaments that Morena of Morena’s Corner created for Christmas. Well Morena found a way to incorporate the ornaments into her daily décor by turning them into decorative finials. If animal prints aren’t your thing, Morena points out that you can use ornaments with any design to make a finial you’ll love.

Here’s what she has to say: “The process was really simple, and I love how my prints turned out. I saved about $230 by doing it myself!”

Thrift Store Pillow with Applique

You know I always love a good rescue, and this pillow from Lora at Craftivity Designs is just that! Many wouldn’t have seen the potential in the old pillow Lora picked up at the thrift store, but she knew with a mini-makeover it could really shine in her guest bedroom. Lora used iron-on interfacing to add “a graphic and modern touch” of typography. Now it has just the perfect mix of vintage and modern she so loves!
