Frayed-Edge Heart Envelope Pillow Cover

Valentine’s Day may be over, but that doesn’t mean we have to pack up all the hearts. Jennifer from Endlessly Inspired created this heart-covered pillow that’s neutral enough to grace your space year round. Jennifer used two different shades of linen to make her pillow, and it still only cost her $9.50, which is a far cry from the $198 price tag of her inspiration. She did an amazing job achieving the beautifully frayed edges of her inspiration, and you won’t even believe how simple it was!

Industrial Wood and Metal Coffee Table Makeover

While updating her family room, Jenna from SAS Interiors wanted to bring some darker tones into the space to contrast all the white elements. She already had a metal-framed coffee table with glass top and shelves and did a quick update by replacing the glass with wood planks for a more industrial look. Here’s from Jenna: “After having this coffee table for 10 years…, I’m thrilled that I was able to create a solution to continue using it instead of bringing in something new.”

Tree Stump Side Tables with Casters

Emma from A Beautiful Mess had seen tree stump side tables of all varieties – metallic, painted, stained, and even dipped. She didn’t know what finish she wanted, but Emma knew she wanted to give the project a try. She was fortunate to come by a slew of stumps through a friend. After the drying process was complete, Emma went to work, chiseling away the bark, sanding until smooth, and then applying a white stain. I can’t get over the beautiful shape of these stumps!

Vintage Cutting Board to Pedestal Transformation

Jamie from Anderson & Grant has “a special place in [her] heart for vintage cutting boards, wooden boxes, barnwood…..it all has so much character.” It was for this reason Jamie just couldn’t walk away from a vintage cutting board she found in a consignment shop. Jamie was inspired to add wooden legs to the board and turn it into a wooden pedestal like she had seen from Pottery Barn. Jamie says, “While the Pottery Barn version is great, mine has the natural, worn character that only time and use can create on an old piece of wood!”
