When you hear metal base, you may think welding is in involved. However, Sarah offers a simpler solution using strips of aluminum. Thanks to Jaime from That’s My Letter and Ana White, you can build your own entry console with tons of hidden storage. I couldn’t agree with Jaime more when she says, “This console has it all: drawers, open shelving, baskets and bins… Personally I want concealed storage that’s easily accessible for my 3 kids but still neat looking and segregated so each child has their own designated basket and bin.” Jaime spent less than 1/4 of retail price (not including shipping charges!) and was able to modify the dimensions to not waste an inch of space and finish in her choice of color.
