It is certainly no secret that we love the barn door trend. It adds just the right touch of whimsy to a space, especially when the door is as beautiful as this one from Mysha over at Remington Avenue. She spent only $50 on the door itself, not including the hardware. She made it with a British Brace, which is that perfect little board running diagonally through the top and bottom halves of the door. She used pine plywood for the backing as well as pine 1x6s to create the braces. A coat of white paint and an unexpected crystal door knob add the perfect finishing touches.
