Jute Wrapped Bottles

8:00 AM By Beckie 1 Comment

Robyn from Everyday a la Mode loved the look of Ballard’s covered bottles but, boy oh boy, are they pricey. Instead of breaking the bank, she grabbed some empty wine bottles and jute she had leftover from another project and made her own version for free. She simply wrapped the jute around the bottle and secured it in place with dots of hot glue. If you’re not a wine drinker, you could probably find all sorts of interesting bottles at thrift stores or flea markets to dress up with some jute.

Robyn was inspired by the Covered Demijohn from Ballard Designs.

I really like this simple idea. Hum! do I have a empty wine bottle around here?
