This DIY is totally outside the box, but turned out amazingly chic!
Rachael from This is our Bliss loved the Forged Metal Sculpture from Pottery Barn- it is super cool, geometric, 3-dimensional, but still modern and fun.
It is the ultimate wall art, but retails for $299.
To get the look for way less, Rachael had the brilliant idea of using drinking straws! She started by creating tons of small squares, connecting them together, and then spray painting them all black.
Her art is just as fabulous as the original, but costs so much less and is significantly less heavy! If you choose to make this project, you can easily DIY it in any color and any size to suit your space.
