DIY Geometric Pendant Light

Katy from A Shade of Teal recently completed her office makeover – including this fun geometric light fixture that she actually made from a terrarium.

Katy also picked up a rope cord kit that she knew would be the perfect contrast to the smooth glass.

She simply drilled a hole in the bottom of the terrarium, inserted the rope cord, added an Edison bulb, and voila!

Katy says, “This was such an easy DIY fix and I love it soo much!”

This is SO clever! And what luck she had finding a terrarium that looked exactly the same! I think I may have to use this somewhere in my house

  3. Oooh, I love the contrast of the rustic rope with the more modern shape of the light!
