Jen from The House of Wood recently made some minor updates to her laundry room, which was sorely lacking in organization and function. One of the first things to go was the ugly wire shelving. Jen replaced the builder basic shelves with custom floating shelves that cost about $60 in lumber. That’s not too shabby for two custom built shelves that are a generous 66” in length! Jen says, “I love the custom built-in look, the improved functionality, and how they complement the charming bead board walls.”
Jen’s shelves remind me of the Reclaimed Pine Floating Shelves from West Elm.
