Kathy from Up to Date Interiors was on the hunt for modern Halloween décor and stumbled upon a glossy black cake stand from West Elm. She says, “Everything about it was perfection except for the price tag. $69 wasn’t exactly in my budget…. but the Dollar Tree always is!” Kathy glued together a plate and candlestick holder from the Dollar Tree and then gave the whole thing a coat of black spray paint to finish the transformation. Since Kathy already had the spray paint in the garage, this whole project only cost her $2!!!
Kathy was inspired by West Elm’s Cake Stand that is no longer available.
