Decorative Wood Storage Box

Val at Home Made Modern needed some sort of box to store all the chargers that end up by her bed.

She fell for the Ming Boxes from ZGallerie that come in sets of two.

However, Val only needed one box and couldn’t really justify spending $59.95. Instead, she decided to make her own from an unfinished wood box.

Val added dimension by making the cutting the fretwork design from thin cardboard and painting it to look like metal.

Decorative boxes like this are perfect for styling shelves, dressers, or nightstand while also providing storage!

Val was inspired by the Set of 2 Ming Boxes from ZGallerie.
