One of my good friends Mandi from Vintage Revivals has an awesome sense of style and a knack for bringing her personality to every corner of her home. When Mandi updated her hallway, she knew she wanted to replace her old wall sconces. She came upon a design she loved and knew she could easily recreate… with a bowl! Is Mandi a clever chica or what?!?

Paula from Sweet Pea fulfilled a little girl’s Christmas wish by making a balance beam for her American Girl McKenna doll. The balance beam was on back order until March so Paula and her husband really came to the rescue. Their little friend tells everyone that her balance beam was crafted by “real live elves.” Too cute!

The second Nikki from Tikkido saw pictures of the striking paper flower backdrop from Chanel’s Spring 2009 show she knew she wanted to recreate it. Happily, she did! And it only cost her about $15. Nikki says, “It was perfect as a backdrop for the party I was designing, and now has a second life as a gorgeous, large scale art piece in my home.”

Morena of Morena’s Corner and contributor on Crafts Unleashed made this custom wall clock as a Christmas gift for her mom. What makes the clock extra special is that it features an antique map of Morena’s Italian birthplace. Morena has plans in the works to make one for each of her four children who were born in different countries!
