Bluecicles Giclee

Knock Off Decor reader Jamie Hammond sent in this picture of some handmade art she made.  Jamie writes, “I loved this artwork (Zgallerie Bluesicles) and decided to attempt something similar. I used a large canvas that I got for half off at Michaels. Then I took regular acrylic paint in multiple colors and laid the canvas down and squirted
stripes directly from the bottle onto the canvas. Then I took a foam brush and spread
it a little more into the stripes. Finally, I took a piece of poster board and stuck it to the front of the wet paint, pulling it off and repeating a few times to give it a textured look. I LOVE the final product!”bluesiclesgiclee

Jamie’s original inspiration came from a 72” x 36” eclectic Bluecicles Giclee from Z Gallerie which retails for $500.

I think this would look even better if you took a high gloss coat over it a few times to make it shiny like theirs.
