Tamara of Provident Home Designs was flipping through a design magazine when she saw a lovely blue and white living room showcasing a gorgeous lattice rug from Horchow.
She quickly hopped online to see if the rug was anywhere in her price range – $1,899! Ouch! Tamara came up with a plan to replicate it using some items she had left over from renovations.
Instead of taping of her design, Tamara laid tiles and molding on an old piece of rug and sprayed away with a deep blue.
She loves the impact the pop of color makes in her living room, and you sure can’t beat a large area rug for $10.50!
Tamara was inspired by the Safavieh Navy Lattice Rug from Horchow.
