Mid-Century Wardrobe Makeover

Kristine from The Painted Hive picked up a boring and dated wardrobe with big dreams to make it beautiful.

Wanting to challenge herself, Kristine opted to stay away from her usual farmhouse style and go for a unique mid-century mood.

She sanded and spray painted the piece, gave it a fabulous new base, and acquired a few hundred wooden hexagons from Alibaba.

She stained each piece individually to give the wardrobe a multi-toned mosaic feel.

After adding some fabulous new hardware, she had a crazy on-trend piece that is 100% unique.

This is Kristine’s finished wardrobe.

Kristine admits this isn’t the cheapest DIY, but it is supremely fabulous. Head over to The Painted Hive to see the full tutorial post!
