Brianne from The Jones Family Adventure decided since her baby girl had turned two that it was time to do a little room update. She decided to add a little feminine texture first. She took an old lamp base and a plain shade and turned it into a little rose petaled beauty. She was inspired by an adorable rose flower shade from Pottery Barn Kids and decided to attempt to replicate it.
Unlike the tall base that Pottery Barn Kids used she chose a chunkier swirled base. I love the look with the rose covered shade. I think it is simply stunning. Click on The Jones Family Adventures to see the full tutorial.

It's amazing how a typically-tacky lamp base (Goodwill-a-plenty swirl) looks AMAZING with that shade she made! Great job, Brianne!
