Mike of The Crafty Gentleman couldn’t help but notice the popularity of wooden, rustic-feeling Christmas décor this year and decided to get in on the action with a DIY project. He was inspired by a simple wooden Christmas star he saw online and recreated it – with a colorful spin! Being a color-loving girl myself, I love Mike’s addition of colorful twine. He says, “I love the effect of all the different coloured twine – it’s bold and quirky, but with that rustic, muted look that I really like.”
