Sunburst Mirror

Cheryl from That’s What {Che} Said was shopping at Hobby Lobby when she came across a sunburst mirror that she loved. It was way overpriced, so Cheryl continued on down the aisle to stumble upon a candle holder for $4 that boasted the same “sunbursts” as the mirror. The repurposing project came to life even better than Cheryl expected and was way cheaper at only $10.

Dog Silhouette Artwork

If you’ve got a furry, four-legged friend that has stolen your heart, you are going to love these dog silhouettes made by Kacie of Kacie’s Kreations. Kacie created her custom artwork with silhouettes that were cut from photos and then traced and painted onto drop cloth fabric. I can also see these being adorable in a small frame on a table or bookshelf.

Popsicle Stick Art

Ginger from Literally Inspired turned to popsicle sticks to add some character and personality to her master bathroom. “Popsicle sticks?” you may be wondering. You heard right! Ginger cleverly constructed a piece of wall art by painting and cutting popsicle sticks and then arranging them in a pattern on a canvas. It’s really cool how the wood looks like it’s woven together.

Framed Sea Life Art

If you’re like Anne from Annimal Instincts, beach décor is not limited to summertime alone. Anne says, “For me, reminders of the sand and sea are not only a summer phenomenon. I can’t get enough of the soothing blues, whites, and tans all year round.” To bring that calming effect to her master bath, Anne used a little computer know-how to create custom versions of Crate & Barrel’s Sea Life Silhouette series using images she found online. Anne displayed her prints in inexpensive frames for a savings of $61 from the price of her inspiration.
