Pottery barn inspired

Pottery Barn carried some wonderful vintage clock plates during the holiday season of 2009.  Unfortunately for Susan from Between Naps on the Porch they sold out quickly and never came back.  “So, what do you do when you’re craving Pottery Barn Clock Plates and there are none to be had?” Susan asks. I think we all know the answer to that {wink}! Susan happened upon an ironing board cover with various clock faces and used the fabric to transform a set of clear plates into her own PB replicas. Following Susan’s steps you could use any fabric that fits your fancy to give some clear plates a whole new look!

Liz from Hoosier Homemade had been dreaming and waiting for a rustic PB-style office desk for three long years. That dream finally came to fruition when she spotted some barn doors with a free sign sitting on the side of the road. Liz’s husband built custom cabinets and then cut the barn doors to fit on top. Heather from Dollar Store Crafts shares how you can create a Pottery Barn inspired mirror for only $10. Sounds pretty good, huh? But wait… there’s more! It also requires no tools. Heather attached together small framed mirrors from the dollar store (of course!) with duct tape and glue to create a larger multi-panel mirror. It doesn’t get any cheaper than this for a generously-size mirror! Plus, you can easily customize the size of your mirror by adjusting how many mirrors you use.
