Tree Trunk Candles

Melissa of The Happier Homemaker loves all the tree bark candles she’s been seeing around. When her husband cut down a tree in their backyard, she knew it was the perfect opportunity for a little DIY fun! Melissa cut a small trunk into the desired sizes and then drilled holes to insert votives. She says, “This was a fast, no cost project and made a great centerpiece!”

Natalie from Sophisticated Yellow shares how to easily update a set of old glasses or stemware with an etched mon0grammed. Natalie created her own stencil using a sticker label and then simply brushed on etching cream. Within a couple of hours, she had a full set of fabulous wine glasses. Upholstered Headboard with Nailhead Trim

Amy from Amy’s Casablanca created this gorgeous upholstered headboard with nailhead trim for her guest bedroom in just an hours time and for under $100. While I love the neutral fabric Amy chose, you could really make a statement in a room with a colored fabric and that eye-catching Greek-key nailhead pattern.
