When she saw a fun pom-pom pillow there, Melissa knew she wanted one AND that she could make it for less. Melissa just used a pillow cover she already had and stitched on some pom-pom trim. Zandi from Radical Possibility shows how easy it is to turn a bland blank book into a gift-worthy moleskine. Basically, all you have to do is use Mod Podge to adhere scrapbook paper or wrapping paper to the journal and wrap it up like a present. Pretty easy, huh?!? My favorite part is how Zandi made the tag from a paint chip. I love all the color options and the fact that it’s free!
These glittered hair ties from Arena at The Nerd’s Wife are so cute and would make great gifts for gals who likes a little glitz. Anthro’s price of five hair ties for $12 may not seem too painful, but it hardly compares to 28 for less than $8! Plus, they are SO easy to make. Arena literally just cut glitter stretch elastic fabric into strips and tied a loop at the end. I love the idea of tossing some into stockings or attaching them to presents so they double as gift tags.
