Jennifer used two different shades of linen to make her pillow, and it still only cost her $9.50, which is a far cry from the $198 price tag of her inspiration. She did an amazing job achieving the beautifully frayed edges of her inspiration, and you won’t even believe how simple it was!
Brandi from Blue Cedar Lane was hitting her favorite shopping spot (aka Goodwill) when she saw a blindingly bright orange flower vase. When she stumbled on a simple and sweet Valentine tea towel from Anthropologie, Bonnie knew she already had everything she needed to recreate it. Bonnie used Heat n’ Bond to make her own adorable ribbon heart applique and then added the extra stitching detail at the bottom of the towel with red and white baker’s twine. Bonnie says, “It really does not take much to make you home festive for special occasions, and this sweet kitchen towel will be the perfect little accent in our home!”
