A lover of seaside decor, Traci at Inspiring Homestyle was inspired to turn some bottles and shells she already had into decorative pieces for her home. Using hot glue, Traci secured her seashells with pointed ends into the openings of the glass bottles. Then to finish it off, she wrapped natural rope yarn around the top of each bottle. A bit more hot glue and viola! Quick, easy, inexpensive, and beautiful accessories!

Zandi from Radical Possibility went shopping in the fabric sweater aisle at her local thrift store for a couple of sweaters to repurpose. Zandi found two perfect sweaters and loves how they satisfy her desire for clean, modern lines and also her need “to nest and be cozy.”

Desiree says the beauty of the technique is that she can simply wipe off the paint if she doesn’t get the results she’s after.
Morena for Dollar Store Crafts loves all of Anthropologie’s scrumptious eye candy, including a pretty flower vanity mirror constructed of brass, aluminum, and glass that sells for $128. Morena was quick to come up with her own plan for creating a similar look using a Goodwill mirror, dollar store flowers, and spray paint. Would you even believe those flowers are painted? They look amazingly like metal to me!
Becca at From Gardners 2 Bergers has created a pretty impressive DIY art gallery for her home. Her latest edition is a woodcut art print that she designed using open source, high quality graphics. It’s as simple as printing the image and popping it into a frame. Becca loves how it adds a subtle pop of color to her gallery.
