Jann from Newton Custom Interiors has been busy making pillows for the double bed her granddaughter will soon be graduating to. She fell for a petal pillow that’s full of texture and knew the fun, girly style would be perfect for the bed. Jan lovingly cut out and stitched 160 little circles to make this pretty pillow for granddaughter and says it was definitely worth it. How sweet is that?!?
Kim from Made in a Day scored quite the deal when she got an old stool for only $1.99. It might not have been much to look at, but Kim took care of that! She recovered the seat with a kitchen rug from Wal-mart to mimic the look of hand-woven, recycled fabric stools she had seen at both Pier 1 and Target. I love it when a rescue and knock-off come together!

Well, Trish from Uncommon Designs also couldn’t pass up on the adding some major cuteness to her table this Easter with a set of the napkin rings. Trish’s technique results in a seamless finish with bunny ears that are super sturdy and will not fray. As expressed in one of her favorite poems, dragonflies hold a special meaning to Gail from Purple Hues and Me. So she was delighted to hack a cute, glittery green caterpillar dragonfly that she saw at Pier 1. The Easter ornament was easily duplicated using basic craft items Gail had on hand.
