Yesterday I shared a couple of ideas for creating your own tabletop Christmas trees. Considering the popularity of burlap, I can’t leave these little trees from Ask Anna out of the mix! Anna thread strips of burlap with thin wire and glued them to a center dowel. Fluff them to the desired shape, and you’ve got a fun, natural fiber tree.

For Debbie from Confessions of a Plate Addict nothing says Christmas like red and green plaid. Debbie paired this holiday classic with some burlap for a “cozy and rustic” décor theme this year. Some stockings from Ballard provided the perfect inspiration for Debbie’s DIY version, which she created for FREE using scraps she had on hand. Debbie’s whole burlap and plaid mantel looks amazing, so you’ll definitely want to check it out!

Lisa from Diary of {Wannabe} Domestic Diva found a burlap memo board from Ballard that was perfect for displaying project ideas in her new craft space. Not surprisingly, the price was the only thing that wasn’t perfect about it, but Lisa found a way to get that sought after Ballard look with items she already had. Looks just like the inspiration to me!

I love wreaths that deviate a bit from the traditional, so it’s no wonder this burlap wreath from Jackie at Pleasure in Simple Things caught my eye. It offers tons of texture and a lovely natural elegance. You could add interest and tie the wreath into your holiday color scheme with decorative accents like Jackie’s pretty white berries.

It’s no secret that wall décor can get expensive, especially for larger pieces. Luckily, armed with wood, paint, and a bit of creativity, you can fill those walls without breaking the bank! Just check out this weathered wood plaque that Mimi from Blue Roof Cabin created with plywood and a jigsaw. The gorgeous shape and custom wording make for a truly unique piece of wall décor!
