I know I had some of you at the words no sew. If sewing just isn’t your thing, follow Ann’s lead from On Sutton Place and take advantage of the cheap ready-made pillow covers sold at stores like IKEA and Hobby Lobby. Ann started off with a $5 cover and simply ironed on a plethora of hearts for create this DIY Valentine’s pillow. How easy is it? Ann says, “Seriously…if you can cut out hearts and iron, you are golden.”

Sew an Oven Mitt with Pipe Trim

Girly-Girl Apron with Ruffles

Anthropologie sells the daintiest little aprons, and Katie at View From the Fridge was able to capture all the frills and femininity in this knock-off she created. Katie simplified the process by starting with a cheapo white apron from Joann’s. From there she embellished with a lovely gathered skirt, plenty of ruffles, and a pretty flower clip. While an apron isn’t technically décor, hang this baby on a fun hook in your kitchen, and it’ll certainly add some interest to your walls!

We are talking seriously FILTHY and rusty! However, Kathy performed a miraculous transformation on the cart, taking it from landfill material to a vision in gold and white!
