While on a shopping trip in Pottery Barn, Gina from The Shabby Creek Cottage found a lamp and shade that she loved.
The bad news is they were quite pricey.
The good news is Gina is a pro at creating a “cheaper alternative,” like mimicking a $159+ lamp for less than $10 using secondhand finds.
Gina’s revamped lamp is just as lovely as her inspiration but is even better since Gina translated words from one of hubby’s love notes for the script.

Oh wow, oh wow! This may be one of my very fave all time knock offs!!! LoOOOVE it to bits! So trying this one, and seriously… her version is so much lovelier than the original! Moreso even because of the sentiment involved. Now I just have to get my guy to write me a love note… preferably in French. lmao
