Oversized Zinc Letters

Shannon from {aka}|design created some faux metal letters for her kitchen that spell the word “eat.”  She used some Rub N Buff in Pewter to create the zinc look a like letters.  I think they are a great replication of aged metal don’t you?

Her original inspiration came from the Oversized Zinc Letters from Anthropologie which retail for $18 a piece.

  1. Thank you for some other fantastic article. The place else could anyone get that kind of info
in such a perfect manner of writing? I’ve a presentation subsequent week, and I’m at the look for such information.

  2. […] Side note: If you also remember, our letters were a knock off of Anthropologie’s Zinc Letters (theirs cost $18 each, mine cost about $6 or $7). They were also featured on Knock Off Decor’s website. […]

The ones at Anthropologie are actually $98 a piece. I know because I fell for them, too. They are huge. 25″ tall and thick! I actually took a stab at making my own as well and triumphed successfully! Mine are the same size for cheapo cheapo! You can check them out here:

and here when I finally placed them above my bed:
