If you love the idea of creating beautiful mantelscapes but have no mantel to call your own, Jeanette from Country Design Style offers a great solution with her faux mantel. Jeanette loves creating items with scrap trim and was thrilled to step up her game with this mantel for her master bedroom. Amazingly, you do not have to be a woodworking connoisseur to build your own. Jeanette says, “Anyone with basic woodworking skills can build one, I promise.”
Jeanette was inspired by this mantel created by sculptor Louise Nevelson and featured in House Beautiful.

Thank you for posting my mantle. I know it's a bit unique but we love it! The creamy white paint brought everything together. The mantle in House Beautiful was inspired by Louise Nevelson. Thanks again!
