Having a place by the entryway to hold keys or postal items will help keep you organized. There is nothing worse than looking around for keys while you are in a hurry. Kate from the House of Hollingsworth Blog came up with a nifty idea to repurpose a wire rack into a mail holder for the front door.
After getting the wire basket frame apart, she screwed wooden boards together to make a frame. Many of us have extra board pieces left over from other projects waiting to fulfill their role for projects like this. Kate painted the boards and add hooks for keys.
This easy to assemble project requires a screw gun, screws, and paint. If you have a need for organization, this project would be easier than you think to complete. If you have a wire basket and don’t like the color, do what Kate did and repaint it. Then hang it up, step back, and enjoy.
