Kids Play Kitchen

When Mable from Lilato Laka came across a retro kitchen at Pottery Barn Kids, it was love at first sight. Of course, the price wasn’t all that lovable, so Mable pulled out her tools! For a grand total of $60, Mable transformed a used entertainment center into her daughter’s dream kitchen that is complete with tile, a window, a dishwasher, and tons of other kitchen gadgets. Mable is new to woodworking so you can only imagine her pride in building a piece her daughter loves and plays on for hours!

Wall Sconce from Bowl

One of my good friends Mandi from Vintage Revivals has an awesome sense of style and a knack for bringing her personality to every corner of her home. When Mandi updated her hallway, she knew she wanted to replace her old wall sconces. She came upon a design she loved and knew she could easily recreate… with a bowl! Is Mandi a clever chica or what?!?

Repurposed Plastic Toy Animals

If you have childhood toys sitting in boxes and have wondered what in the world you will ever do with them, Meream from Bored and Crafty has an entire series dedicated to creative repurposes for childhood toys. One upcycle involves turning them into fun and quirky rocking animals perfect for gathering on shelves or even using as ornaments. Meream attached her plastic animals to embroidery hoops and then glammed them up with gold spray paint.
