Amy at Joyful Daisy shares a fun tutorial in which she transformed a 20-year-old worn accent table into a whimsical wonder! She says, “It was oodles of fun as I drew my inspiration from all the wonderful furniture designs at Mackenzie Childs.” Using a two -tone painting technique, Amy was able to recreate their whimsical combination of color and design complete with the signature checkerboard design and gold dots.
Inspired by the classic combination of aqua and white used by so many of her favorite designers, Jennifer from Celebrating Everyday Life spent the past weekend giving her dining room a makeover. Jennifer used chalk paint to transform her black table and chairs and give the whole space an overall lighter, airier feel. The end result is an inviting space that’s perfect for spring and summer entertaining!
