Cara from The Inspired Workshop created the most adorable DIY Pottery Barn knockoff dog bed. It’s beyond cute aside from stylish!
Inspired by a pricey Pottery Barn version Cara knew she could build one herself for way less.
Cara used common lumber like 1x2s and 2x2s to build the sleek frame and gave it a beautiful stained finish that matched in with her other decor.
I love how she added cute details like the little corner finials and trim to give it that high-end look.
The best part is that this project is super customizable — you can adjust the size to fit any furry friend.
Cara even shows you how she created a comfy cushion with basic foam and fabric to complete the look.
She recommends using pocket hole joinery for strength and offers a full cut list and step-by-step instructions to make it beginner-friendly.
For the stain, Cara used Minwax Dark Walnut, which gives it that rich, expensive vibe.
This project is proof you don’t have to spend a fortune to create stylish pet furniture!
