Sentimental Thanksgiving Dough Bowl Centerpiece

One thing Debbie from Confessions of a Plate Addict loves about the Thanksgiving season is displaying one of her most prized possessions – the dough bowl she inherited from her grandmother. The bowl serves as the centerpiece of Debbie’s Thanksgiving table each year, and as Debbie says, “This year the old gal is sporting a very stylish look…inspired by Pottery Barn!” Debbie opted for a more natural look, surrounding her birch bark candles with pinecones, acorns, and leaves. I love how Debbie has been able to incorporate this sentimental piece into her seasonal décor!

Thanksgiving Boat Centerpiece

As if planning a mouthwatering feast isn’t work enough, creating a beautiful centerpiece also adds to the Thanksgiving frenzy. Kathy at Miss Grace Filled Life shares an easy idea that you could make today with a quick trip to the store. Kathy created a pilgrim ship from a wooden bowl complete with billowing poster board sails. How cute is this?

Indian Corn Candle Holder

Liz of Infuse with Liz was inspired to create a pretty Indian corn candle centerpiece like one she spied in Pottery Barn’s catalog. Attaching the corn to the glass bowl proved a little troublesome, but in the end Liz pulled it all together… literally… with some twine {wink}. You can leave your corn au natural like Liz did or glam it up with gold paint like PB’s version.
