Thrift Store Geometric Coaster Transformation

For a grand total of $3, Sonnet of SohoSonnet was able to create her own set of colorful, geometric coasters. Sonnet started with a set of Christmas coasters she picked up at the thrift store for $2. She says they were just “screaming” for a makeover and that’s exactly what Sonnet gave them with wood grain paper and paint. It just goes to show that there’s a lot more than meets the eye on those thrift store shelves! With a little creativity, you can have Anthropologie-inspired coasters for a mere $3!

Trash-to-Treasure White and Gold Rolling Cart

Kathy from The Salvaged Boutique rescued a metal cart from the garbage pile at work. The fact that it was metal made it a true score, despite its n-a-s-t-y condition. We are talking seriously FILTHY and rusty! However, Kathy performed a miraculous transformation on the cart, taking it from landfill material to a vision in gold and white!

DIY Metallic Print Glassware

Sarah of Sarah Hearts loved the simple, geometric design of some metallic glasses from West Elm, and with her Silhouette and gold vinyl was able to easily make her own. Sarah created one set that is literally spot-on with her West Elm inspiration and then went a step further to make some with retro-inspired designs. These are perfect for holiday gatherings!
