A Thrift Store Horse and Spray Paint Magic

Tamara from Provident Home Design was shopping for home décor items at the thrift store but happened to wander into the toy section with her kiddos. It was there that she spotted a toy horse and immediately had visions of Ballard Designs’ equestrian décor and gold spray paint dancing in her head. Of course, she snatched up the little horse and headed home to transform it with a little “spray paint magic.” Tamara loves her $6 painted horse even more than her inspiration and says, “I love the power of paint to transform!  It never ceases to amaze me!”

DIY Home Decor ~ Turn a toy horse into a stylish decorative accessory with gold spray paint! {a Ballard Designs Knock Off}

Tamara was inspired by the Hand Carved Horse from Ballard Designs.

    I really LOVE this! Now that our kids are grown I rarely wander into the toy section. Must start that again 😉 I too am a firm believer in “the power of paint”. It transforms nearly everything for so little money.
