April from April’s Craft Nest shares a cheap and easy tutorial for making custom doormats aplenty. You’ll have enough for every season or to share with a friend or two! April used a large 6’ by 8’ roll of outdoor carpet, cut each doormat to size, and then painted her custom design using a freezer paper stencil. With an initial and Halloween design already complete, next up for April is a Christmas mat to offer her guests a festive greeting.
April was inspired by the Suzanne Kasler Bordered Initial Coir Mat from Ballard Designs.
