Bonnie from BonnieProjects shares at Teal & Lime how she added a fun, personal touch to her bed with striped pillow shams. Bonnie had been eyeing West Elm’s shams for some time and had even gotten close to buying them despite the hefty price tag. One thing holding her back was the fact that there was a three-letter limit on monograms. Bonnie says, “So what do you do when you can’t get what you want? Make your own!” Bonnie’s workmanship on these is impeccable, and the sweet nicknames on the front are the icing on the cake!

Mid-Century Modern Dresser “Patchwork” Makeover

Sarah from Funcycled planned to refinish a mid-century modern dresser and wanted to do something outside-the-box. She came across West Elm’s patchwork dresser and new it would be the perfect look for her dresser. Sarah and her husband got to work sanding the dresser, painting the box white, and then staining the drawers in a variety of finishes. I love the contrast of the crisp white paint and stain. This is such a fun, statement-making piece!

Ashley from Bigger Than the Three of Us is in the midst of a kitchen remodel.
