Rollaway Toy Storage Crate

Now that the presents have all been unwrapped are you wondering where you are going to store them all??? Desiree from Camelot Art Creations made this rolling storage bin to corral all the toys that threaten to take over her living area each day. The beauty of this piece is that it allows her children to be accountable for cleaning up themselves since it requires simply throwing the toys into the crate. Desiree built her crate for free using pallet wood, but if building’s not your thing, you could also doctor up an unfinished crate from the craft store.

If you’ve got kids, you know that toy storage is a must. And, if you’re like me, you know it’s nice if that toy storage is cute to boot {wink}! Meaghan from 2sisters2cities gave an unfinished craft store crate a designer look with some stain, casters, and a stencil. Using a ready-made crate is a great option if you want to save money with DIY but skip the power tools.
