Nature Collage Wall Art

Mandy of This Girl’s Life had been drooling over a piece of nature wall art from Urban Outfitters, but, alas, it was no longer available. Mandy didn’t shed a tear over the unattainable artwork since she knew she could make her own using a freebie canvas and nature photos. Mandy says, “It turned out exactly how I had imagined and is the perfect art piece for our entryway… And I love that I spent about $5 total for supplies.”

Shadow Box Art that Brings the Outdoors In

Jacob from Home Tree Atlas really liked the shadow boxes from Restoration Hardware that display sea fans. With the right shadow boxes (thanks to IKEA) and fabric, he knew it could be done quite simply. Jacob says, “Next time I’m by the beach I’ll be looking for more decor pieces to frame – but for now, a walk around the neighborhood proved to be quite lucrative.” I love the classic black and white, but, like Jacob, think this nature art would be fun with a pop of color for a more modern and funky twist!

Leaf Silhouette Art

When Kandi from Kandi & Company fell in love with some pricey nature prints, she gathered inspiration from Pinterest and a can of spray paint to recreate it. By spraying over a floral pick placed on a canvas, Kandi was able to get the sun print look that she loved. Kandi says, “I was literally dancing up and down in my garage when this worked! I’m loving these little custom pieces of artwork in our room that I created for less than $5 a picture.”
