Glass Container Terrariums

Inspired by the current trend of houseplants, but uninspired by the thought of upkeep, Sarah from {Home-ology} Modern Vintage became smitten with the idea of terrariums. She found a beautiful terrarium at Crate & Barrel but wasn’t so enthused with its “sale” price. Sarah went in search of similar versions at vintage shops and found three beautiful glass containers to create her own grouping of terrariums.

Outdoor Wood Planter

Kim from The Money Pit had been wanting a large planter for her backyard and came across the perfect one at Pottery Barn. Well, it was perfect with the exception of the $129-$229 price tag! Kim grabbed a couple pieces of wood and some paint stirrer sticks and created her own knock-off for only $8. I just might have to try my hand at these for my newly refinished deck!
