The leaves are in full color changing mode here, making me even more grateful for this time of year. Paula at Sweat Pea created some fall pillows that bring the look of those lovely leaves inside. Best of all, she used all items that she had on hand, so the pillows didn’t cost her a penny!
Keeping in line with her neutral fall color scheme, Maryann at Domestically Speaking wanted to tone down a bright orange pumpkin she had purchased from a garage sale. She got just the look she was after by decoupaging pieces of brown paper onto the surface. Working with torn pieces of paper makes it easy to cover curves as on Maryann’s pumpkin, and the overlapped edges give a nice textured finish.

Bethany came across a cute pillow cover from Pottery Barn that features a neutral color palette with whimsical curling vines. While Bethany didn’t need a pillow cover, she was up for some seasonal wall art and layered various materials to create a pumpkin that’s full of texture!
