Large Fold-n-Go Wood Cubby

I recently shared the foldable and portable caddy that Michelle from Chalkboard Blue fashioned after Pottery Barn Kids’ numbered wall cubbies. The smaller design was perfect for holding utensils and other fixings for summer barbeques. Well, that’s not all, Folks!  Michelle also created a larger version of her fold-n-go wooden tote that sports a handle, hinges, and a latch just like its little brother. Michelle says, “I love how this tote can be folded up and used to transport items or stretched out along a wall or closed up again for storage!”

Vintage Numbered Wood Crates

Kelli at Lolly Jane created a set of eight numbered wood crates for storage in her craft room. These started as unfinished wood crates that you’ve likely seen at Joann’s, but with stain and stenciling, they look much pricier! The storage possibilities with these are endless. I love how Kelli styled them here in the bathroom to hold towels, and as she points out, you can even add casters to make them mobile.

Make Over a Dollar Store Vase with Hot Glue!

Kathy from The Budget Decorator gave a dollar store vase the easiest makeover known to man – with hot glue! Kathy simply turned her vase while putting lines of hot glue around it to create texture. This is the perfect pick-me-up for any plain glass candle holder, vase, etc. Kathy has plenty to be proud of with this vase. Like she says, “It looks about as close as you can get to the original vase!”
