So it’s no surprise that I was ohhing and ahhing over this adorable Christmas tree pillow made by Jamie from Three Scoops of Love. Not only it is pretty to look at, but Jamie added her own twist with removable “ornaments” so her kids can “trim the tree.” That special touch makes me love it all the more!
I love wreaths that deviate a bit from the traditional, so it’s no wonder this burlap wreath from Jackie at Pleasure in Simple Things caught my eye. It offers tons of texture and a lovely natural elegance. You could add interest and tie the wreath into your holiday color scheme with decorative accents like Jackie’s pretty white berries.
Jen from Beauty in Bloom replicated the look of a dot and ric-rac tree skirt to create a colorful Christmas tree last year. She used her old tree skirt as a template to sew the new skirt and then glued on her ric-rac and dots to complete the look. I love this fun, unique design and the fact that Jen saved $50 by making it herself. With all the expenses that come with the holidays, that’s much-needed money in the bank!
