Antique Factory Cart Table

Shawna from Dakota Creek Chic found an antique factory cart at a local antique store and knew she could build her own version of the Restoration Hardware table that was out of her budget at 1000 bucks. Shawna used Ana White’s plans as a rough guide but was fortunate to already have the cart (that happened to have awesome casters) to use as a base. Here’s what Shawna has to say about her third big project: “This was an easy build, taking only one afternoon to finish. It’s so worth it, and I just love how it turned out. Hope you love it too and hope this inspires you to tackle your own DIY project.”

Vintage Easter Egg Prints

Emily from life{illustrated} is always looking for seasonal art inspiration, and the vintage egg prints from Ballard Designs caught her eye. For Emily, they were “just the right amount of ‘spring’ without looking too cheesy or juvenile.” So Emily headed to the Graphics Fairy and made her own art for FREE! It’s really as simple as printing it out and popping it in a frame!

Metal Wall Art

We have seen projects aplenty for creating wooden wall signs, but how about giving metal a try? Morena from Morena’s Corner shares at Crafts Unleashed how she was inspired to make a couple of pieces of metal wall art from inexpensive rusted metal sheets. Here’s from Morena: “I have a passion for all things retro, especially metal wall art.  Originals are pricey, and reproductions can get expensive, too. Why not make your own?”
