White Desk with Wood Top

Kate from Magic City Thistle exercised some serious resourcefulness to recreate the look of a white desk with wood top she’d been eyeing from Pottery Barn.

The base was the simple part – a few storage cubes, and Kate was done.

However, it’s pretty tricky to make a wood desktop without any wood.

Kate rummaged around and found an old shelf, cardboard, and wood grain contact paper to work with. How’s that for rocking what you’ve got?!?

Kate’s inspiration came from the Whitney Desk from Pottery Barn.
