Corey from Sawdust 2 Stitches had been struggling to style a set of shelves in her home around the same time she saw a spotlight style table lamp from Pottery Barn. She knew the lamp was just what she needed and came up with a plan to make her own. After a little brainstorming, Corey says she realized that the Pottery Barn lamp was “essentially a metal can mounted on a tripod.” It just so happened that Corey’s kids had recently damaged her tripod, so then all she needed was a can. Corey picked up an empty paint can from Home Depot and worked a little DIY magic to turn the two items into a knock off spotlight lamp!
Corey was inspired by the Photographer’s Tripod Table Lamp from Pottery Barn.
